Violence marred the 2006 Torneo Apertura, and is already rearing its head in this year’s Clausura. Following the scenes prior to River-Lanús and Estudiantes-Quilmes in the Primera A’s first round of matches, there were clashes today before the Primera B (second division) match between Los Andes and Talleres RE.

Boca made their debut in this year’s Copa Libertadores on Wednesday night, at altitude in La Paz against Bolívar. Sadly for the xeneize, the few days of altitude training they did weren’t transformed into goals, and the match finished 0-0.
