Banned

The dirty half-dozen

River Plate took the unprecedented step, on Tuesday, of banning six of the head honchos of Los Borrachos del Tablón, their barra brava, from the club. Martín Gonzalo Acro, Alexis Alan Decoste, Cristian Ariel Ghisletti (all employed by the club), and Hugo Adrián Rousseau, as well as the Schlenker brothers, William and Alan, are all out on their ears – at least as far as River’s public stance goes, when they play in the Monumental.

Will they get in anyway? Will they apply for the right of entry to away matches? Will this ban even end up being upheld?
