Easy, easy…

So you see, that’s how you win a football match…

Banfield claimed their first three points of the Copa Libertadores with a resounding 4-1 win over the Ecuadoreans of El Nacional in El Sur on Tuesday night. Since Patricio Hernández took charge at the start of the season, Banfield hadn’t won one match in any competition before tonight – well, welcome to the winner’s enclosure, boys. Quite a way to join it.

The goalscorers for the home side were Darío Cvitanich (7th minute), Martín Andrizzi (24th and 28th) and Cristian Luchetti (64th). Wálter Calderón equalised for the visitors in the 22nd minute, and El Nacional also had a man sent off.
