A cracking weekend of action, with a goal early in Friday night’s first match, and very, very, very late in Sunday’s final one. 2.6 goals per game this week, and as ever, a healthy red card count. River Plate visited Quilmes, and played poorly. They threw everything at the hosts, but couldn’t find a way through. Ernesto Farías had shots blocked on the line and tipped wide, the hosts were only brave enough to send very few men forward when they attacked. But there was no way through.
