Juan Román Riquelme may be preparing to make his return to Boca permanent, according to La Nación tonight. The newspaper claims that ‘A Spanish daily’ (they don’t name them but a report appears in Marca) have revealed the midfielder’s house in Castellon was put up for sale a few days ago – the asking price is €900,000 if you’re interested.

Riquelme has been reported as saying that since he owes his recognition in Europe to Villarreal, if he can’t play for them, he won’t play for any other side in Europe. It seems he may be about to confirm exactly that…
