Boca goals

3-0 up when I left you last night, Boca ran riot in the second half and won 7-0 against Bolívar in their first Libertadores match without Guillermo Barros Schelotto, thus qualifying emphatically ahead of Cienciano and two points behind Toluca, who beat the Peruvians 3-0 in the other match. The match was indeed, as pointed out by Justin, not played at La Bombonera, but at Vélez’s stadium.

The goals looked like this, courtesy of our friends at GolesTV:

Goalscorers in order: Rodrigo Palacio, Martín Palermo, Palacio, Carlos Tordoya, Jesús Dátolo, Bruno Marioni, Marioni.

Of course if they hadn’t got another dodgy penalty, things might have been very different….

.. they would only have won 6-0.
