Week 12 scores and scorers

San Lorenzo nearly let the final match of the weekend slip, conceding twice in the second half, but ran out 3-2 winners against Nueva Chicago. Combined with Facundo Sava’s last-minute equaliser for Racing in La Bombonera, this leaves Ramón Díaz’s side four clear at the top ahead of Boca, with Estudiantes a further two behind, and River two behind them. Quilmes are at the foot of the Clausura and, more crucially, the Promedio table which will be used to determine who goes down. Above them, Godoy Cruz, Belgrano and Chicago are all in trouble. Read on for a full rundown of who scored the goals for which teams.

  1. River still have a game in hand, right? So there’s hope yet if they can continue the current effective, if not brilliant, form.

  2. That’s right, River have a game in hand, though when it gets played hasn’t been decided yet as far as I’m aware.
