King Carlitos

Hernán Crespo scored the winner for Inter Milan, and Gabriel Heinze was crowned a champion of England with Manchester United this weekend, but there was no questioning the finest performance by an Argentine in Europe’s leagues. Carlos Tevez, in spite of all the controversy surrounding whether or not he should be playing for West Ham at all, has single-handedly kept his team in with a chance of Premiership survival, and turned in perhaps his best performance yet against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, scoring twice and setting up Lee Noble for a gorgeous volleyed third. If West Ham can manage a result against Man United at Old Trafford on the last day, they may yet stay up. And if they do, Tevez will have earned a place in their folklore. For West Ham’s goals, read on.

Tevez: West Ham 1 – 0 Bolton (10th min)

Tevez: West Ham 2 – 0 Bolton (22nd min)

Noble: West Ham 3 – 0 Bolton (30th min, Tevez assist)

West Ham are doomed, and I for one will be cheering on Tevez as he takes to the field for Manchester United next season.
