Boca – Libertad buildup

The tough-talking began today prior to Thursday night’s last-eight clash between Boca and Libertad of Paraguay. Sergio Markarian, the manager of the Asunción side who’ve already put River out in the group stage (and did the same at this point last year) won’t put a man specifically on Riquelme. ‘That being said, we have to take him into account because he’s not just anyone. He’s the best version of Román, faster and more practical than when he was in Europe.’

Actually that’s not very tough-talk at all. ‘We’ll be looking for at least one goal,’ added Jorge Rodrigo Bava, the Libertad goalkeeper. That’s more like it!
