It’s a knockout

Each week I write a column for the British website Voice Of Football. This week: River’s virtual elimination from the title race, the Avellaneda derby, and Carlos Tevez returning home to discover he’s even more of a cult figure than before. 

‘It’s turning into a knockout situation at the top of the Argentine championship now. No, this isn’t another peculiar South American variant on the league format – I’m talking figuratively.

Four matches remain, and San Lorenzo, Estudiantes and Boca are still running neck-and-neck for the title.’
