Boca lineup vs. Cúcuta

Boca have continued preparing for the first leg of their Copa Libertadores semi-final, away in Cúcuta, which is played on Thursday night. Last time they played in this competition in Colombia, Boca conceded a late equaliser and lost on penalties in the second leg of the 2004 final to Once Caldas, in one of the biggest shocks in Libertadores history. They’ll be wanting to avoid a repeat of that this time round. The eleven aren’t 100% certain yet, and in particular there’s talk about replacing Ever Banega, who’s been poor of late, with Sebastián Battaglia, but the starters will very probably be:

Mauricio Caranta
Hugo Ibarra — Daniel Díaz — Morel Rodríguez — Clemente Rodríguez
Pablo Ledesma — Ever Banega — Neri Cardozo
Juan Román Riquelme
Rodrigo Palacio —- Martín Palermo
