For those not already aware, the Copa América group stage came to an end with Argentina’s defeat of Paraguay last night, and the quarter-finals kick off tomorrow (Saturday). Uruguay (Group A) and Chile (Group B) have qualified as the two best 3rd-placed sides, and the draw is right here.

Independiente Rivadavia and Guillermo Brown met in Mendoza on Thursday in the second leg of the championship playoff for Torneo Argentino A. Argentino A is the third tier competition for sides not directly affiliated with the AFA, so the prize at stake was a place in the nationwide second division, Primera B Nacional.
