Starting over

The title win last month was scarcely believable for anyone who’d seen their pitiful Apertura performance, but San Lorenzo manager Ramón Díaz wants to make it two in a row, and his quest to do so begins its preperatory stages tonight, when San Lorenzo kick off their Mexican tour against Atlas in Jalisco. Germán Herrera and Jorge Ortiz will almost certainly play the first matches of their new spells with the club, whilst Atlas will include Argentines Bruno Marioni, Diego Colotto, Hernán Encina and Lucas Barrios in their squad. San Lorenzo’s other friendlies will be against Vercruz on the 21st July and Jaguares de Chiapas on the 28th.
