Once again, there was no River Plate this weekend, their home match with Newell’s having been postponed until further notice following the death of Gonzalo Acro last week. There were nine other matches, though, and unlike last week they all saw goals, with a rather nice total of 24 all in.
Boca surprisingly fell to Argentinos in the clash of the two ‘Juniors’, Germán Denis took Tigre to pieces almost on his own, and Vélez scored not one, not two, but three fine goals against Olimpo. For all the goals, as usual, check back here on Monday evening (UK time).
