Apertura ’07: week 3 goals

The 17 goals from the third round of matches in the 2007 Primera A Tornero Apertura are online now, and can be viewed on TN‘s website by clicking here. As ever, Gonzalo over at the wonderful GolesTV has uploaded each goal individually, and if you read on, you’ll find the full running order for the TN clip, as well as my personal favourite strikes from the week.

Running order for TN video:
Gimnasia La Plata (navy & white shirts) vs. Argentinos (red, white sash)
Independiente (red) vs. Rosario Central (blue & yellow stripes)
Colón (white) vs. Lanús (maroon)
Olimpo (black & gold stripes) vs. Arsenal (sky blue, red sash)
Banfield (orange & green stripes) vs. Vélez (white, navy ‘V’)
Gimnasia de Jujuy (navy) vs. Racing (sky blue & white stripes)
San Lorenzo (navy & red stripes) vs. River Plate (white, red sash)
Newell’s (red & black halves) vs. Estudiantes (red & white stripes)
Boca (navy & gold) vs. San Martín (black & green stripes)

The week’s best

Carranza: Gimnasia de Jujuy 1 – 1 Racing (57th min)

And, because there weren’t many really great goals this week, a review of the Colón 2 – 1 Lanús match, which featured three finely taken set-pieces, including a very cool penalty retake from José Sand to give the visitors a 1-0 lead.
