The goals from last night’s Copa Sudamericana second round second leg between Estudiantes and Lanús are now online, and you’ll find them right here. Estudiantes took a 2-0 lead in the first half, but Lanús pegged them back in the second to go through 3-2 on aggregate.

After El Turco Mohamed’s resignation on Tuesday, Huracán president Carlos Babington needs a replacement who’ll please those angered fans. Jorge Burruchaga has already annonced that if he goes anywhere, it’ll be to a Mexican club. So Babington appears to be honing in on a great name from the club’s past - Osvaldo Ardiles.

Lanús lost on the night to Estudiantes but went through to the round of 16 in the 2007 Copa Sudamericana all the same, having won the first leg (which was played absolutely ages ago, even I’d forgotten about it) 2-0.
