The FULL qualifying squad

So, it turned out on Sunday that the 18 names Alfio Basile gave us a few weeks ago weren’t in fact the only ones to be included in Argentina’s squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Chile (in the Monumental) and Ecuador (in Quito). I’d like to emphasise that there was no hint of further players to be included when I originally reported the squad to you back then. But it turns out the reason Germán Denis didn’t get a call-up was that the seven domestic players to be included weren’t named until Sunday. Fernando Belluschi also gets a first (as far as I can remember) inclusion.

Domestic players are highlighted in red (I hope, because no colours are showing up on this computer).
