It's going to be an interesting weekend, indeed.

One quick note: Today (March 7) was declared the "Racing Club supporter's day". Why is this?

Because back when the club went bankrupt (1999) Racing were scheduled to play their opening league fixture at home on March 7 against Talleres. The club was forbidden to play and yet the stadium received more than 30000 supporters who were there just to show that Racing was not dead.

Today, 9 years later, we will face San Lorenzo in a match that will be crucial in our quest to avoid relegation. I doubt we'll see 30000 people tonight and I doubt we'll have many reasons to celebrate the supporter's day.

One of the very hot fixtures is Rosario Central vs. Colón. Two desperate sides in a battle to escape from the red zone.

So this is going to be a very interesting Friday.
