Clausura ’08: Round 10 fixtures

The halfway point of the 2008 Torneo Clausura is almost upon us, with River and Boca the only remaining unbeaten sides. The leaders host Tigre whilst Boca visit Jujuy – sandwiched between them in second place, Estudiantes have the chance to take the summit of the table when they host Lanús in the weekend’s first game on Friday night. Claudio Borghi, who recently left Colo Colo of Chile, might be watching his new charges at Independiente, if as expected he takes charge of El Rojo on Friday.

All kickoff times are local. Add four hours for British Summer Time.

Hmm…. I thought that Comparada was trying to sign MA Russo. Didn’t realize that Borghi was that close to signing. Whoever is hired should get Ismael Sosa back in the team. I know he’s probably leaving at the end of the season but why can’t the guy get in the team?
