Flu players getting laser pointers aimed at their faces. This has happened around the world in various games, and is not a very good development. Most laser pointers are harmless from a distance, but there are more powerful ones, commercially available, that can do eye damage.

Tons of chances and only two goals to show for it. Boca’s back is weak now in the air without Paletta and I don’t think he is near to a return. If you are a Boca fan their constant misfires on offense can drive you nuts. Once again they will have their backs against the wall on foreign turf. As Seba mentioned they could/should have won tonight with a nice margin. I’ll have to hope for the Boca magic again next week. And Seba, while Boca is still mathematically in the local race it would suit me fine if they rested everybody Saturday against Racing and focussed exclusively on winning in Mexico next week.

I mean…Boca could have won it 4 or 5-1 and then they were stunned by the opposition.

Riquelme hitting the post, Palermo almost there with a “taco” and several other opportunities and then Atlas nicked a point and scored 2 away goals.

If it was any other Argentine team I would have said it was game over, but Boca can actually win in Mexico.

I just hope they don’t win on Saturday (if you know what I mean!).

It would be easy to blame Caranta for the late equalizer, but that was really a nightmare cross to deal with. Too close to stay on his line, hit with too much bend and pace for him to get there first. Really the perfect ball into the most dangerous spot.
