Am obviously disappointed to see Garay go to Madrid, he would have looked much better in blaugrana, and Racing will struggle in Europe without him. It will be interesting to see if he gets to play a more valuable role than his compatriots, or simply becomes the latest member of the blanquiceleste bench brigade at the Bernabeu.

But I have the horrible horrible horrible feeling that Gimnasia will end their run of 4 defeats in a row exactly on Saturday when they face Racing.

I feel sad to see Gimnasia so compromised with the promedio next season but the most important thing for me is Racing and this time we need to beat them no matter what. Even if there is a great friendship going on between both sets of supporters (dating back from the 60s), both teams will battle it out on Saturday and it’s going to be very ugly.
