I just yelled about Migliore on Seba’s blog, so I might as well do the same here ! Migliore is a circus clown. I heard today that Caranta might be healthy enough to play should Boca make it to the finals, but that is a big “if” after tonight. I thought Boca had the better effort tonight, but Flu is a talented, fast team and it will be tough for Boca in Brazil. Of course it wouldn’t be the first time that Boca traveled there and kicked butt, so I am not totally despairing.

Great post. It’s always nice to see blogger getting together in some cyber discussion.

Something tells me that Dario Conca might be crucial for this game because he is perhaps Flu best resources about what Boca are capable of.

By the way, you should post match thread article on this game. That will be fun.

Johnny, that sounds more or less right. Caranta isn’t even on the bench tonight, though, so it looks like that injury (or whatever) got the better of him this time…

Andrew-thanks for that. It sounds more likely than what I heard. I always saw Caranta as a level headed team player. Maybe a little sensitive which might explain the reaction to some jerk fans. Thanks again.

Johnny, I heard that Caranta asked out of Boca in the heat of the moment after a mistake he made in a game about a month ago. It sounded to me like he was catching some stick from the fans and got upset and threatened to leave. Haven’t heard anything about it since, so I think it probably blew over. I don’t know why he would want to leave Boca.

Migliore’s done a decent job but I’d sure love to see Caranta back between the posts again. I hope he’s not being benched for something stupid he said.

Thanks for the Flu update Sam. As I get geared up for tonight’s match I have a question. As we know, Pablo Migliore has been in goal recently for Boca due to an alleged injury Caranta has suffered. However, I have heard that Caranta made some dismissive statements about some of his comrades on defense after the 2-2 draw with Atllas in the first leg of that matchup. Reportedly he irritated them and management and there was a rumor he had asked out of Boca. Does anybody have any insights about this ? My source might be full of it, or maybe Caranta is too hurt to play. Thanks !
