Niall Quinn buried his differences with Roy Keane because he thought he was the best man for the job at Sunderland, yet a personality clash like this stops Diaz returning.
Mind you, Merlo’s had virtually the same at every club he’s been at. Presidents won’t leave these coaches alone to coach.
