Nothing to report, and a goal video

It’s getting on for 2am and the international friendly between Belarus and Argentina on Wednesday evening was so ‘friendly’ that neither side bothered to trouble the opposing goalkeeper unduly, by all reports. I can’t even offer my own opinions on the matter because like the patriotic idiot I am, I was wasting my evening watching England get thrashed 2-2 by the Czech Republic. The quality of the Argentina match seems to be summed up by the fact Germán Denis managed to hit the crossbar from one yard out. Instead of reading about that, then, step this way for the goals from Tuesday night’s Copa Sudamericana first round, first leg, when Arsenal de Sarandí began their trophy defence with a 4-0 thrashing of Honduran side Deportivo Motagua.
