This was surely one of the best weeks ever for the quality of goals. That Jujuy-Huracan game was brilliant, and I wish I had been able to put money on Ubeda quitting immediately afterwards - the expression on his face when Pieters scored reminded me of Kevin Keegan during the Newcastle run-in where they lost the title. I felt really sorry, as this was by far the best his side had played all season, yet some freakishly brilliant goals had snatched the points away. No wonder he gave up, he probably thought 'just *what* do I have to do?' It's how I feel when I get beat at that stupid Football Manager game and just hit quit...

I really can't decide on 'Goal of the Week'. Pavlovich's was superb, but the one-touch build up and finish to the Velez goal was really good.

Both Villagra's and Casteglione's goals were beautiful curling shots like Luna's for Jujuy, and Diego Torres, who I thought had a superb game for Nuls, scored a really great one: how difficult did that look, falling backwards to hit the ball on the half volley a split second before the defender? Brilliant.

And the quality of free kicks this week was superb, people seem to think this is a special 'Brazilian' trait, but Adrian Gonzalez's efforts were the pick of a very good bunch.

And now, my decision is...

3rd: Jorge Luna; 2nd: Diego Torres; 1st: Nicolas Pavlovich. But there weren't many goals this week that couldn't have won in any other fecha.

Sadly, Racing couldn't even muster one, and the Newell's and Jujuy results were disastrous for us. I really hope we can win in Mendoza, as I fancy both Rosario sides to pick up points. But as I've been saying all along, I expect Huracan's fall to save us from la promocion...
