Independiente have acted quickly in naming the successor to Claudio Borghi after the manager left the club in the aftermath of the 1-0 defeat to Huracán on Saturday. Santoro was stand-in prior to Borghi’s arrival but now takes the reins on a permanent basis for his fifth spell in charge of his beloved club (only the second spell as permanent boss though). ‘I’m going to take it with the same love and emphasis as always,’ Santoro told the press on Tuesday. Rojo player Mariano Herrón, meanwhile, expressed his happiness that the appointment had been made so early prior to the international break. ‘We’re going to have a couple of weeks to train and talk a lot [about where they're going wrong],’ he pointed out to the press, who knew that already.

At the moment there’s a discussion about Comparada and Nakis’ election campaign on our forum.
But we do really know anything about the backgrounds. Do you know sth. about the board of the rojos ruling in a corrupt manner?
