Copa Sudamericana 2008: Estudiantes 2 – 0 Botafogo

The quarter-finals of the 2008 Copa Sudamericana began on Tuesday night as Estudiantes hosted Brazilian side Botafogo, and after going in at half-time a man down after Agustín Alayes was sent off, it was the hosts who’ll take an advantage to Rio on the 5th November. Second-half goals from Mauro Boselli and Seba Verón (another spectacular effort from range) did the job for El Pincha before Túlio saw red for the visitors to even up the team numbers. Check back on Wednesday evening for the goals.
