Still wondering why Jose Sand hasn't gotten the call from teams outside Argentina. Brazilian teams or Mexican or Europe, MLS, etc. Anyone have an opinion?

Johnny, I think the search for a goalkeeper is of a lot more interest / urgency to Boca than bringing back Boselli.

BC stealing your transfer money, Matthew? Good to know the game's programmers are still doing their research properly...

Ah Sam, Football Manager! It's definitely the time of year for it, as no meaningful football is ever played in January, hate the month!

I've just got FM09 and I'm managing Racing and Manchester City. Sadly, at Racing, I'm doing terribly. I signed Martin Morel, and he is hopeless in this game! He's so slow, he never gets to anything before and opponent, gives it away far too often, the only decent thing he's done is set up a goal for Luguercio in a match we lost anyway. I'm in the relegation zone, having lost to Godoy Cruz AND San Martin. I think Blanquiceleste are going to sack me soon :(

At City, I had the chance to spend £55 million of Arab petrodollars. First thing I did was spend five million on Bergessio, and he's scored five goals in eight competitive fixtures, playing in the forward three with Robinho and SWP or Rodney Sneijder (Wesley's bro) and Diego Valeri in less important games. I also sold Caceres to myself to play as a back-up to the first team, and I'm currently in mid table and doing well in the UEFA Cup... pretty much like real life then. But what more proof be needed that Hughes really needs to sign GB instead of the over-rated tart Craig Bellamy?!

Oh, and I made City pay well over the odds for Caceres to give Racing some serious money in the transfer market, but hardly any of the 5 million (!) has been made available to me for players! Looks like Blanquiceleste have stolen it all....

Nice job Sam ! From the stats to the very hot Velez shirt.

Even though I am a Boca supporter, I have not been a big fan of Viatri. But, you are right, those were some very big shoes he was asked to fill, and he did a pretty good job.

Speaking of Boca and goals, when can Boca bring back Boselli ? And do they want to ?
