All very predictable

It’s so dull watching Lionel Messi, isn’t it? It would be so much more interesting if he was poor now and then, but it just never seems to happen. On Tuesday he was at it again, scoring a hat-trick away to Maxi Rodríguez’s and Ever Banega’s Atlético de Madrid (Sergio Agüero didn’t play) as Barcelona won 3-1 in the first leg of the Copa del Rey last sixteen. Two years ago in this competition, Messi scored that goal against Getafe, and tonight with Diego Maradona watching from the stands, he almost did it again, taking in half the pitch and going past three challenges before hitting the crossbar moments before completing his hat-trick.     Thanks Sam for the info that Diego was there watching the game. I missed out that important info on my post.

    I guess he just wanted to REEEEEAALLLYYY make sure that Diego will call him up for the French Party next month.
