Clausura ’09: Round 7 scores and scorers

With Godoy Cruz, Gimnasia La Plata and Central both drawing on Saturday, Racing had a chance to gain some points in La Plata, but were more concentrated on keeping Estudiantes out. Amazingly, given that we’re talking about Racing, referee Carlos Maglio booked Mauro Boselli for diving rather than give a penalty against Caruso Lombardi’s boys, when the Estudiantes man had indeed dived. Elsewhere, Gimnasia de Jujuy got a win in La Paternal, River came from behind to beat San Martín with Radamel Falcao García asking Marcelo Gallardo if he could take the winning penalty, and Lanús – who stay top – were thumped by Huracán. Tigre and Boca, runners-up and champions respectively a few months ago, drew 0-0 in Victoria. All the details are right here.

One Response to Clausura ’09: Round 7 scores and scorers

  1. Fernando says:

Amazing game by Matías DeFederico of Huracán. Playing like that, he won’t be in Parque Patricios for long.
