Brazil starting XI against Argentina

Some good news has already come Argentina’s way prior to Saturday night’s clásico against Brazil in the Gigante del Arroyito in Rosario. Both Ecuador (0-2 away to Colombia) and Uruguay (0-1 away to bottom placed Peru) lost, meaning Argentina are guaranteed to still be in the top four even if they suffer their second ever home loss in World Cup qualification tonight. It helps Brazil as well though – Ecuador’s loss means that if they win, their qualification is confirmed. You can see Argentina’s starting lineup here, and read on for the Brazilian eleven.

  1. Jason Voorhees says:

You do realize the Estadios Unitos is better than this gutless, pitiful, disgraceful team, yes ?

Hiring a fat, bloated coke addict may work for a minor-league basketball team, but not Argentina.

Seriously. The only word to describe this team at this point is “LOSERS.”

Don’t kill the messenger. Don’t hate tha player, hate the game.

  2. murt says:

Voorhees. you are a complete gobshite.

  3. Murt, in fairness to Jason… I happen to know (because I post on a forum with him) that he loves what these players are capable of. But although I wouldn’t put the point quite as strongly as he has done… he’s right. They’re not playing like a team.

What Jason says there is the same as Bostero Forever’s comment on the match report itself – only the language is different.
