Newells’ Formica is the striker, and younger brother of Godoy’s wingback Lautaro Formica. Mauro had been relegated to the bench after last season and this was his first game this season in the starting XI, responding with a goal which might help in making a case for a return into the first squad.

Really good news for Boca fans. Funny about Viatri, he seems to spring to life at times to score, and the rest of the time he looks like a drugged elephant.

An even nicer win when you consider it was away from home and without six players who ordinarily would start for Boca. Some of the available subs I had not heard of or had not seen near the pitch in two years.
