The Torneo Clausura will begin on the last weekend of January, and though there will be pre-season matches taking place during the month, they won’t be held in Buenos Aires. There might be an invitational tournament in La Plata or hosted by one of the mid-sized clubs, but all of the ‘Big Five’ will be playing the Torneos de Verano, and there are unlikely to be many more matches to choose from in the height of summer.
