Club World Cup preview: History Students

As you may be aware, Estudiantes de La Plata are playing in the Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi very soon (it started on Wednesday). As you may also be aware, they’ve got a bit of history in the competition back when it was the Intercontinental Cup, and Seba Verón’s dad played no small part in that. I’ve examined all this and more for ESPN Soccernet, and you can read the fruits of my labour by clicking here. Go on.

You can now follow HEGS on Twitter (including updates during and between league matches and similar stories that might not go up on the site unti later). I’ll keep mentioning this until I’m happy with the number of followers I’ve got, so save yourselves the misery and do it now.
