Ah, thanks for that Mike about Garcia. Well, maybe it’s time to see what Garcia can offer. Both he and Ayala are awfully young, but Garcia always struck me as a little better put together for the job.

I’m all for benching Ibarra, but unless Ayala is better than Pato right now, keep Pato in there. Then, bid him a festive farewell in a few months. I don’t think Boca is so horrible that they ought to fold up this soon.

small footnotes; independiente tried a 3-2-5 in the second half – Piatti, Gracián, Silvera, Gandín & Rodríguez – just like in the 50′s; Boca is up in arms about benching pato and ibarra for next match & the new libero brazilian Luiz Alberto had first practice today and choked after 20 minutes – he’s not ready yet (is this a sign of a no-confidence vote on Bonilla, a much younger central def) ;
