Clausura 2010: round 9 Friday goals

Friday night saw Vélez Sársfield win by a single goal at home to Lanús, before Godoy Cruz returned to the top of the table with a stoppage time winner against Atlético Tucumán which came courtesy of Gonzalo Higuaín’s elder brother, Federico. Having left Independiente for the mendocinos after last year’s Clausura, Higuaín is now playing a part in El Rojo‘s biggest obstacle in the title race. Independiente could regain the lead when they visit Chacarita on Saturday afternoon. For now, to see Friday night’s goals, step this way.

Vélez Sársfield 1 – 0 Lanús

Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba 2 – 1 Atlético Tucumán
