Clausura ’09: Round 14 scores and scorers

Sunday’s last matches ensured River Plate weren’t the only utterly embarrassed team this weekend – and both the humiliations occured at Huracán’s ground. Independiente got given a thorough going-over as the ‘home’ side against Estudiantes. 2-0 up at half time, Alejandro Sabella’s boys ran out 5-1 winners. Elsewhere, San Lorenzo comfortably beat Gimnasia de Jujuy, Racing lost to San Martín, and Boca’s reserves (and Juan Román Riquelme, returning from injury) beat Arsenal. There were thirty-seven goals and five red cards this weekend – you can find out who got each and every one of them right here.
