Torneo Clausura 2010: round 4 Friday goals

Friday saw the fourth round of the Torneo Clausura kick off with a draw in Rosario between Central and Chacarita, and a win for Tigre away to Arsenal de Sarandí which saw the visitors pick up their first win of the campaign. Emiliano Zelaya scored for Central on the stroke of half time, but five minutes from the end of the match, Lisandro López (not that Lisandro López – this one’s a young defender) grabbed the equaliser to give Chacarita a share of the spoils. In Sarandí, Néstor Ayala opened the scoring expertly after ten minutes, and Carlos Luna got Tigre’s second from the penalty spot after Darío Espínola had handballed. You can watch all four of the goals (plus seven in one game from the B Nacional) right here.

Rosario Central 1 – 1 Chacarita Juniors

Arsenal Fútbol Club 0 – 2 Tigre

And as an extra, here are the goals from the B Nacional match between Independiente Rivadavia de Mendoza and Defensa y Justicia, which the visitors won 4-3. If you were disappointed by the relative lack of quality in the top flight goals tonight, one or two of these might sate your thirst.

Independiente Rivadavia 3 – 4 Defensa y Justicia

You can follow the Clausura and the Argentine sides in the 2010 Copa Libertadores via HEGS on Twitter (including updates during and between matches and similar stories that might not go up on the site until later). I’m slowly gaining followers, but if you’ve not signed up yet you can do so here.
