Torneo Clausura 2010: round 4 scores and scorers

Monday night’s match between Argentinos Juniors and Newell’s Old Boys in La Paternal was called off 28 minutes into the second half due to truly torrential rain making the pitch completely unplayable (not to mention rendering the TV cameras near blind). It’s another postponed game for Argentinos, who already have to play 82 minutes of their match with Banfield (that’ll be played a week on Wednesday). It’s been a goal-light weekend, this one, with the exception of Independiente vs Estudiantes, but those who did find the net are listed here.

Primera División Torneo Clausura 2010, fourth round:
Rosario Central (E. Zelaya 45) 1 – 1 Chacarita Juniors (L. López 85)
Arsenal Fútbol Club 0 – 2 Tigre (N. Ayala 10; C. Luna 57)
Banfield (R. Battión 59; J. Rodríguez 90+4) 2 – 0 Lanús (G. Castillejos OFF 72; H. Grana OFF 81)
Huracán 0 – 0 Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba
Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata (M. Pérez 31) 1 – 0 Racing Club (M. Cahais OFF 78)

This week sees the long-awaited return of the league tables to HEGS, so if you’d like to see them, just click the page at the top of the site – or here.

You can follow the Clausura and the Argentine sides in the 2010 Copa Libertadores via HEGS on Twitter (including updates during and between matches and similar stories that might not go up on the site until later). I’m slowly gaining followers, but if you’ve not signed up yet you can do so here.
