With Saturday cleared from fixtures due to May Day, the 17th round of the Torneo Clausura is already underway, with Newell’s Old Boys having claimed a 2-0 win away to Arsenal. For the hosts, Jorge Burruchaga just might have quit as manager, but we’ll have to wait and see. Agustín Alayes and Rolando Schiavi scored the goals in Newell’s triumph, which made sure of their qualification for the Copa Sudamericana this year. You can watch those goals, and see the rest of the kick off times, right here.
All kick off times are local. Add four hours for British Summer Time.

Well… Godoy Cruz tried and tried but canalla blew their house up in the final. Although, nothing short of applause for El Tomba, it wasn’t over until the last minute! Unless a major disaster strikes diablos, pincharatas and bichos all over the city porteña in one fell swoop.
