This post is later than normal this week, for which I apologise. Sunday’s matches had plenty of talking points, none more so than the clásico between Independiente and Boca Juniors which – as well as Martín Palermo’s brilliant backwards headed goal – was won by Pablo Mouche who first scored a quite brilliant goal, and then stupidly got himself sent off for his celebration, first taking his shirt off (one yellow card) and then cupping his ears in front of the home fans (a second, in the eyes of the referee). Those two goals, along with Sunday’s others, are right here, as are all the goalscorers from the weekend just gone.

The last video is missing Independiente’s stoppage time consolation, but it was only a penalty and this vid is a pretty decent picture.
You can follow the Clausura and the Argentine sides in the 2010 Copa Libertadores via HEGS on Twitter (including updates during and between matches and similar stories that might not go up on the site until later). I’m slowly gaining followers, but if you’ve not signed up yet you can do so here.
What a golazo !!!! from Mouche, but what a moron. I guess when you have a hot girlfriend you might get too big for your britches. He’ll have to be watching his back for Independiente fans the rest of his life. And Palermo is Palermo, not ready for WC primetime, but always entertaining.
