Copa Libertadores holders Estudiantes de La Plata went through to the quarter-finals of the competition on Wednesday night with an easy 3-1 home win over Mexican strugglers San Luis in Quilmes, to add to the 1-0 advantage the champions’ substitutes had already secured in the first leg in Potosí last week. Estudiantes took an early lead through Leandro González in the fourth minute, and although Diego De La Torre equalised minutes later, two second half goals from Leandro Benítez handed the tie to Estudiantes 4-1 on aggregate. You can watch the goals right here, along with those from the Argentina vs Haiti Ariel Ortega earthquake victims benefit match in Cultural Co, which the ‘local selección‘ won 4-0 against the Caribbean nation.

Andy D tearing it up tonight in Porto Alegre. What a player when he is right. I guess he is too unpredictable, but for my money the best argentine enganche out there.
