Banfield beat Deportes Tolima of Colombia with ease in El Sur on Wednesday night in their Copa Sudamericana round of 16 first leg. Víctor López headed an early goal for the hosts, and Emilio Zelaya added a second ten minutes later to give El Taladro a comfortable lead to take to Colombia in two weeks’ time for the return leg.
