
Former Racing goalkeeper Hilario Navarro was the man of the match in Saturday afternoon’s clásico de Avellaneda, which was won 1-0 by Independiente after Racing had just the better of a nervy first half. Later in the day Vélez Sarsfield thumped new Independiente boss Antonio Mohamed’s old club Colón 6-0 in Liniers to move back to five points behind leaders Estudiantes. Boca Juniors rounded off the day with a 2-1 win away to Tigre. You can watch all of Sunday’s goals right here, as usual.
