Copa Sudamericana: Independiente advance to the semis

Independiente drew 0-0 with Colombia’s Deportes Tolima on Thursday night in Racing’s stadium; with that result, combined with the 2-2 draw in the first leg last week, they advance on away goals to the semi-finals. Rojo goalkeeper Hilario Navarro was the best player of the two matches, and it’s the first time since 1995 that Independiente have reached this stage of a continental competition. The highlights are right here.
