Copa Sudamericana 2010: Independiente lose, but still have hope

Independiente went 3-0 down away to defending champions Liga de Quito in the first leg of their Copa Sudamericana semi-final on Thursday night, but rallied with goals from Néstor Silvera and Lucas Mareque to pull the deficit back to 3-2, and grab two potentially crucial away goals, to take into next week’s home leg back in Avellaneda. Mareque’s goal – and Liga’s opener, from Juan Manuel Salgueiro – were both superb, and you can see them as well as the other three right here.
