Saturday’s goals

Racing take a step closer to the Copa, possibly

Saturday involved an early start and a late finish for me in socialising terms in the evening, so here are the goals from it now. Quilmes claimed only their second win of the season, at home to All Boys by two goals to one, with an uncharacteristic screw-up from Albo goalkeeper Nico Cambiasso. Racing won away by the same scoreline over Banfield in a match which could prove crucial to their hopes of qualifying for the Copa Libertadores – if great rivals Independiente don’t nix those by winning the Sudamericana. The goals from Banfield vs Racing all came within four minutes of each other. Watch them here.

Quilmes 2 – 1 All Boys

Banfield 1 – 2 Racing Club
