San Lorenzo and Arsenal de Sarandí both got three points on Monday evening in the final matches of the second round the 2011 Torneo Clausura. Both ought to be there or thereabouts at the top of the table come the end of the Clausura, and although the wins were by the same scoreline (2-0), there was a big gulf in class between the vanquished parties. Arsenal beat Tigre, who having changed managers and some players over the summer are still finding their way, whilst San Lorenzo’s win came away to Godoy Cruz, who will also be hoping to find themselves at the right end of the table come the end of the season. For the goals from these two games, and all the weekend’s scores and scorers, read on.
