Mendoza got another taste of Copa Libertadores action on Tuesday evening, but it didn’t go as well as the first time around. The 2-1 win over Liga de Quito a couple of weeks ago faded as another club who’ve won this competition before visited. Peñarol got a comfortable win, taking the lead after 51 seconds and, although Godoy equalised through Rubén Ramírez after half an hour, the five-times champions eventually ran out 3-1 winners. You can see the goals right here.
