Estudiantes win the clásico, and Racing get an unwanted thriller (video)

Estudiantes two goalscorers celebrate together

The first clásico platense in the new Estadio Único de La Plata didn’t feature Juan Sebastián Verón, but his team won anyway, 2-0, thanks to Gastón Fernández and Enzo Pérez, the latter from the penalty spot. Racing, meanwhile, took a 4-0 lead over Olimpo, but being Racing they conceded three in seven minutes to leave them happy to scrape a 4-3 win to go top of the league. And in an equally silly game, Newell’s Old Boys and Huracán drew 3-3 in Rosario. All the goals are right here.

Newell’s Old Boys 3 – 3 Huracán
